FIELD MUSIC
Field Music are a band from the North East of England, led by Peter and David Brewis. Since their first album was released in 2005, they have created a large and varied discography from their studio in Sunderland. This has included film scores, collaborations, solo records and a covers album, as well as a run of acclaimed albums of their own songs, the most recent being Open Here in 2018. This performance will see the band pick at the threads of protest and politics through their own work and will include songs from their recent commission for the Imperial War Museum and from “45”, David’s recent album about the current President of the United States. The songs performed will be accompanied by films and projections compiled by the band’s guitarist/designer Kevin Dosdale and longtime film collaborator Andy Martin. The band’s lineup features Peter, David and Kevin with Liz Corney on keyboards and vocals and Andrew Lowther on bass guitar.
