NEON FINALE – BYOB

NEoN’s infamous Finale Party, is back and we’re teaming up with Yuck ‘n Yum to create a projection wonderland filled with light, music and a celebratory tipple!

On this night we will welcome BYOB to Dundee! B isn’t for Bottle, it’s for Beamer! AKA the wonder that is the Projector! Building on the BYOB (Bring Your Own Beamer) open-source idea, founded by Rafaël Rozendaal, we are inviting VJs, visual artists, filmmakers, animators and performers to share their work, plastering the walls, floors and ceiling with a projected patchwork of moving image! AND there will be some low-fi interventions too! OHPs will be wheeled around on trolleys with a stock of acetates and pens, so our party-goers can get in on the action too, creating their own pictures to project.

For your listening and dancing pleasure our resident NEoN DJ, Mr RHL and guest DJ-ette Wee Beastie will be on the decks too playing many a danceable beat! From funky rhythms, house and hip-hop to dance floor classics, they’ll have it covered!

So whether you want to lounge about on bean bags peering at the projections or enjoy a boogie on the dancefloor with a beverage in hand, you won’t want to miss the NEoN finale party. After all, you’d have to wait another whole year for the next one!
